The Kirkland Chamber of Commerce does not sell or distribute our membership contact lists or personal information. If you are contacted by someone claiming to sell a "member list" or offering access to our contacts, please be aware that this is a scam.

We advise against sharing any credit card details or personal information with anyone reaching out on behalf of such offers. If you encounter any suspicious emails or calls, feel free to reach out to us directly so we can assist and address the matter.

  • Do I need to register for an event?

  • What is a Certificate of Origins?

A Certificate of Origin (COO) is an important international trade document attesting that goods in a particular export shipment have been wholly obtained, produced, manufactured, or processed in a particular country. It is also a declaration by the exporter.

Virtually every country in the world considers the origin of imported goods when determining what duty will be assessed on the goods or, in some cases, whether the goods may be legally imported. The 1923 Geneva Convention named Chambers of Commerce the official body to issue, sign, and stamp Certificates of Origin worldwide.

  • How can I get a Certificate of Origins?

    Certificate of Origin Steps:

The Greater Kirkland Chamber will only seal completed COOs. The proper Certificate of Origin must be completely filled out and notarized before presenting it to the Greater Kirkland Chamber.

Certificate of Origin requests will be processed between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday and authorized at the chamber’s office at 400 Urban Plaza, Suite 135, Kirkland, WA 98033. The Chamber coordinates COO requests. Members can contact the Chamber at (425) 822-7066 or info@kirklandchamber.org if needed.

    Important Information:

The Greater Kirkland Chamber only attests to the documents as they are presented—it is not attesting to the validity of the claim of where the goods were produced.  Furthermore, the Greater Kirkland Chamber will not be held liable if the U.S. Company does not present all of the appropriate documentation needed for international importation or exportation, or any other reason that may result in the company’s shipment being held at foreign customs.

Certificate of Origins stamps are ONLY available to Greater Kirkland Chamber of Commerce chamber members.

For more information, go to the Certificate of Origin information page at the U.S. Customs and Border Protect webpage.

Before filing any COO, please ensure you have the latest PDF form, information, and requirements from both U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
