WHAT IS AN AMBASSADOR

The primary mission of the Kirkland Chamber of Commerce’s Ambassadors program is the retention of existing Kirkland Chamber Members, enlistment of new members, and to serve as goodwill representatives of the chamber at a variety of functions. This energetic group helps maintain contact with other Chamber members while promoting the Kirkland Chamber of Commerce and its purpose.
Ambassadors attend Chamber events and serve as greeters at Chamber functions such as monthly Business After Hours, Luncheons, Ribbon Cuttings and Grand Openings as well as other Chamber activities. Ambassadors are the first contact that new members have upon joining the Kirkland Chamber of Commerce.
Ellie Bachaud is the Relationship Manager for a national technology company, Stratocent Technologies. She is a dynamic professional who continues to educate herself in her industry. Ellie is involved in an ongoing training and development program with Landmark World Wide where she supervises multi-day events throughout the year. She is also a coach for teams supervising similar events across North America.
Recently Ms. Bachaud was a part of a team that facilitated a training and development program for College and University professors to bring effective leadership courses to the University sector.
Ellie has lived in the Pacific Northwest her entire life and loves getting to travel with her family, especially her 6yr old son. Ellie enjoys working each day with her family providing IT services that wow their customers. Ellie has grown up in a family of entrepreneurs and her passion is working with business owners to give them peace of mind about their businesses IT.
Ellie’s networking tip: “Never underestimate the value of listening. When meeting someone new, what are their concerns? How can you or someone you know solve them? As a Kirkland Chamber of Commerce member, you immediately have a vast pool of resources that will have people thinking of you as valuable resource.”

Columbia Athletic Club at Juanita Bay Brenda was recognized as Chamber Member of the Year in 2003 and Community Service Award recipient in 2016.
Deby Rourke is a Real Estate Broker at John L. Scott. Deby is involved with the Kirkland Women’s Club (KWC), Daughter’s of the British Empire (DBE), and helps with fund raising for the Jaimeson Jones Memorial Scholarship who raise funds for siblings in families who have suffered through childhood cancer.
Craig Gaudry is a licensed real estate broker with more than 25 years of experience in the real estate business and is ranked in the Top 1% of Real Estate Agents on a National level. Craig has a home in the Houghton neighborhood of Kirkland where he and his family relax and enjoy their time together.
LORI MOREFIELD BERG
Lori is a consultant who provides Job Search Assistance and Operational Support and is a mentor, moderator, presenter and speaker for various networking organizations, libraries and chambers of commerce.
TROY & KAREN THIEL
Troy and Karen Thiel have over 25 years of experience at The Thiel Team at Windermere Yarrow Bay. They support charities such as ‘Rebuilding Together’, ‘Attain Housing’ and ‘Habitat for Humanity’. Their expertise helps many in the community achieve affordable housing.
Scott is Vice President of Coastal Community Bank based in the Puget Sound Region. Scott is a past president of the Kirkland Chamber of Commerce. Scott knows what it takes to do business in North Puget Sound. “We don’t just provide banking services — we are trusted advisers, providing information and knowledge to help our customers succeed.
