Ford of Kirkland is asking you to help feed hungry children during the summer months by joining their Ford Peanut Butter Drive.

FACTS

It is estimated nearly 18 percent of children are food insecure, defined as living in households that experienced limited or uncertain availability of safe, nutritious food at some point during the year. That is nearly 1 in 6 children! Currently, during the school year, children are fed breakfast and lunch at school which helps alleviate the problem. But when school is out during the summer months, local food banks carry a larger responsibility to feed kids. Peanut butter is an important protein staple to feed kids during these summer months, but is difficult to acquire in adequate quantities.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Ford Motor Company Fund has partnered with Ford Dealers and community food banks in the Pacific Northwest to address this problem with the Sixth Annual Ford Peanut Butter Drive.

The drive, from May 1st to May 31st is a key part of Ford Focus on Child Hunger, a five-state campaign in the Pacific Northwest by Ford Dealers to support their community food banks and to make sure no child goes hungry.

DONATE

All you need to do is take a jar of peanut butter to the Ford of Kirkland Dealer, which is our local Ford Peanut Butter Drive location at 11800 124th Ave NE . Kirkland, WA 98034 between May 1-31 and help feed kids in our community.

OR

Thank You Ford of Kirkland.
