The awards is a joint ceremony presented by the Chamber and the KDA, to celebrate individuals who have gone above and beyond in their commitment to the Chamber, the KDA, and the community. The gala is the Chamber’s biggest event of the year. Previous themes include Great Gatsby, James Bond, and Hollywood. Over 300 people attend the gala at a local venue, complete with a silent auction, raffle, raise the paddle, and a live auction. Dine, share a glass and dance with some of the best leaders around. The Peter Kirk Golf Classic is an annual event open to members and guests. The event takes place at a Pacific Northwest golf club and is followed by an awards presentation dinner. Kirkland Wine Walk
The Kirkland Wine Walk is a Chamber, Kirkland Downtown Association and Seattle Uncorked event. Themed wine walks allow participants to taste the finest of Washington and Oregon state wines while exploring Kirkland’s unique galleries and boutiques. Each January representatives from the eleven East King County business communities gather to hear what Eastside legislators will prioritize in the upcoming session. Investor Sharks NW takes place at the Kirkland Performance Center. This event presents startup businesses and student entrepreneurs from the Greater Seattle and Eastside area gain exposure and compete for a chance to pitch to a panel of investors.
